Michael Amin is a fourth-generation pistachio farmer and the founder and chief executive officer of Primex World Inc., a Los Angeles-based investment firm whose holdings include pistachio orchards, other types of agricultural real estate, and all manner of private equities.
In 2002, Michael Amin created the charitable organization Maximum Difference Foundation (MDF). Among its many projects, MDF uses advertising as a way to motivate parents to educate themselves in the art and science of good parenting, and hence promote stronger families and more successful communities. The foundation also employs its resources to benefit society in a number of other areas, some of which include healthcare, children’s aid, criminal reform, education, environmentalism, human rights, social justice, and providing aid to the underprivileged.
